Smiths Grafting Wax.  A popular and well known brand of grafting wax in New Zealand that is recommended and used by Ian Adams, the developer of the Scionon tool system and a Master Grafter in New Zealand.   This wax may be easily applied by a gloved hand, spatula or other suitable tool.  It is more flexible and easier to work with than other grafting waxes.  Under cold conditions it may need to be warmed slightly to make it more easily spread by hand.   Typically it is very flexible and easily worked under normal temperatures.

Apply evenly to cut surfaces and over grafting tapes to provide a final seal.  Use clean and dry tools.  It provides a water resistant barrier that protects from disease and insects.  It weathers well.

It is a firm, creamy white, petroleum based wax that is free of any pesticides, fungicides or preservative and is made from food industry raw materials.
